Charles G. (Gig) Robinson began practicing law in Huntsville in 1972 after serving as an officer in the United States Air Force following Law School at the University of Alabama and Bar Admission in 1971. Predecessor firms were Camp, Page, Williams & Spurrier; Hornsby, Blankenship, Higgs, Smith & Robinson; and Charles G. Robinson, Attorney at Law, P.C.

Gig’s primary areas of practice are real estate (both development and financing), and representing construction, leasing and sale of various commercial and residential properties. He also represents several financial institutions, principally in the areas of closing and title assurances.

Gig’s other areas of practice include acting as a title agent for several title insurance companies, currently Chicago Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Insurance Company.

Gig assists clients in writing wills and probating estates and also assists in the creation and operation of small businesses.

Gig has served as the Barrister for the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association and was inducted into the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association Housing Hall of Fame. He is a past President of the Huntsville/Madison County Bar Association, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Randolph School, Past President of the Boys and Girls Club of Huntsville, Past President of The Children’s Home, Inc. (Chi-Ho), a former Director of the Rotary Club of Huntsville, a Director of the Great Huntsville Humane Society, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Gig was born and raised in Huntsville. Gig resides in Huntsville with his wife, Ellen, and both his son and daughter are practicing attorneys in Birmingham, Alabama.
